APPOINTMENTS:

Keys to vacant homes within Bayou Vista/Omega Bay may be checked out Monday-Friday before 4:30 PM unless prior arrangements are made. Occupied Homes and Homes Outside Bayou Vista/Omega Bay are shown Tuesday - Thursday ONLY by prior arrangements, a 24-hr notice to Current Tenant is necessary.

APPLICATION QUALIFICATIONS:

A $25.00 non-refundable application fee is required. EVERYONE 18 years of age or older who will be living in the home (or visiting in the home for more than five days) WILL BE required to pay for and obtain a certified criminal background check covering a five year period prior to application date.
Application processing will include a credit check, verification of employment and salary, confirmation of rental references and a criminal background check for each applicant 18 years of age or older who will be a party to the lease. Job history of two years and rental history of two years will be required. Monthly income must be 2 Y, times the monthly rent for property applied for.
All applicants, 18 years of age or older, who will be a party to the lease are required to (1) provide a merged credit report (or single report from each of the 3 major credit reporting bureaus) dated within the 30 days prior to application date; (2) provide a certified criminal background check covering a period dating from application date to five years prior - from ALL counties lived in within the five year period; (3) complete the rental application authorizing CBVR Property Management to contact current and previous landlords for a rental history; and (4) provide check stubs covering the period for 90 days prior to application date.
An applicant will be notified by phone by CBVR Property Mgmt. when processing is completed as to whether applicant has been accepted or denied.
